The online catalogue of the NLCR contains information about the collection from 1995 onwards. It allows users to order documents and selected services.

The NLCR's online catalogue (the NKC database) contains all book acquisitions since 1995, records of other documents since 1996 or 1997, and the study collection (copies for off-site loan). Records of older literature from the retro-conversion of the General Catalogue of the NLCR are continuously added. To find books and periodicals published before 1995 that are not listed in the online catalogue of the NLCR, it is necessary to use *scanned catalogues*.

Online ordering is only possible for books, periodicals, and other documents for which the record indicates there are specimens, i.e., library units, available. Only registered users or pre-registered users can order online.

Registered NLCR users have an overview of their orders, reservations, and loans in the online catalogue via their reader account. Loans not requested by another user and for which the loan period has not yet expired can be extended independently through the user account. A reader account also allows you to reserve a team study room or computer in the Reference Centre or order interlibrary services.
