Responsible for the legal services agenda, excluding public procurement. Acts as the guarantor of internal legislation, manages the central register of contracts, and provides legal advice to all departments of the NLCR. Drafts legal documents, represents the NLCR before courts of all levels and other relevant authorities.

Personal Data Protection
The NLCR is the controller of personal data. The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation; hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”) and in accordance with the relevant Czech data protection legislation.

Provision of information pursuant to Act No. 106/1999 Coll., on free access to information
The Legal Department of the NLCR provides access to information pursuant to Act No. 106/1999 Coll., on free access to information, under the conditions set out in this Act. Should a large quantity of printed copies of documents be requested, the NLCR may charge a fee based on the currently valid price list.
