The books are arranged according to the Social and Natural Sciences Reading Room Systematic Classification. The back room of the Reading Room is a quiet zone.
The reading room offers a 14-day reservation and access to non-printed documents - micro documents (microfilms and microfiche), electronic documents, audio documents, and video recordings.
The reading room provides reprographic services, both self-service and upon request.
It provides access to the Internet (time limited to 1 hour), to the databases of the NLCR and to digital libraries, especially to the full content of the National Digital Library.
