Central Directory of Libraries and Information Institutions in the Czech Republic (CADR)

The database contains data on institutions that cooperate or have cooperated in developing union catalogues, participate in interlibrary services, or are in contact with the Librarianship Institute of the NLCR. The directory currently includes basic information on almost 8,000 libraries and information institutions in the Czech Republic. These include all central libraries, public libraries, most university libraries, libraries of the Czech Academy of Sciences, research institutes and medical institutions, libraries of state authorities, cultural, religious, and educational institutions, and information centres of private firms and companies.
