Carries out repairs and maintenance of buildings and technology, including revisions, technical inspections, and emergency service. Responsible for the physical and technical conditions necessary for the activities of other departments. Carries out purchasing, delivery, acceptance, distribution, installation and service, and facility management activities, including cleaning and moving services. Handles insurance claims and the related agenda. Operates vehicle transport services. Performs energy management. Oversees long-term leases of non-residential premises. Manages coordination, methodological, inspection, and monitoring activities, thus helping ensure appropriate working conditions for staff and an adequate environment for storing library collections.

Library Facilities Management
Purchases consumables and movables; manages long-term leases, vehicle operations, and insurance.
Deals with part of the NLCR procurement agenda (purchase of movables and materials according to individual requirements and needs outside the IT and other selected departments) and coordinates it with other departments. Manages the warehouse of material and technical supplies (office and hygiene supplies) for the internal needs of the NLCR and keeps the relevant records. Responsible for managing long-term leases of non-residential premises of the NLCR, including event spaces, and all activities related to NLCR property insurance (manages all insurance contractual relations and resolves insurance claims). Oversees the transportation agenda - people, materials, and library collections between the various NLCR facilities, as well as maintenance and repairs of company vehicles. Carries out a partial inventory of NLCR assets. -
Klementinum and CD Hostivař Operations
Provides comprehensive maintenance of managed buildings and grounds, statutory inspections and tests, energy and waste management, moving, and building cleaning.
Carries out maintenance, technical administration, construction modifications, and repairs of the NLCR buildings and technologies (except IT and security technologies). Carries out required inspections and technical tests. Other tasks include facility management services, including cleaning the NLCR buildings and grounds maintenance, 24-hour supervision and dealing with potential emergencies. Responsible for surveying and creating operating rules for technological units, asset liquidation, energy management and supervision of waste management, including reporting to state institutions. Distributes and applies disinfection and extermination. Provides technical support for cultural and marketing events and all activities related to the relocation of the property of the NLCR, as well as the provision of drinking water for employees. Carries out a partial inventory of the assets of the NLCR.
